Some Common Questions

Will I own the copyright to my finished designs?

Yes. Once you’ve paid for your logo design in full, it belongs to you. If you need details of this provided in writing, please let us know.

Do you require a deposit?

For all new clients, we require a 50% upfront payment for graphic design and web design services. This is payable prior to the commencement of your project. If you decide to stay on as a long-term client, then we don’t require pre-payments for each project. We also offer 7, 14 and 30-day trading terms.

What are your payment terms?

In most cases, payment is required prior to the release of final digital files for printed products or prior to website deployment. Our terms are generally seven days unless prior arrangements have been made. For long-term, regular clients we offer 14-day terms. You can also easily make payments via EFT or credit card on our website.

Can you organise printing for me?

Yes. As part of our graphic design services, we offer print management to our clients. We can take your graphic design project from concept to print delivery. We work closely with a variety of Brisbane printers and gang printers throughout Australia. We never send a print job overseas unless you request it.

Do you print business cards?

Yes. We can organise print runs starting from 250 business cards. Generally, we only print business cards we’ve designed or updated.

Can you register a domain name for me?

Yes. Just let us know what you want and we can do the rest. 

Can you take out hosting for me?

While we don’t sell hosting directly to our clients, we can help organise this. We love and recommend WPHosting (and use it for our own hosting). Not only are they based in Australia, but you speak to a real person when you ring for help. Seriously, how awesome is that? WPHosting offers a range of plans.

Can you take my images out of word?

No. Images that have been cut and pasted into a Microsoft Word document are not of a high enough resolution to use in professional graphic design and print services.

We aren't based in Brisbane, will that be an issues?

Not at all. We work with clients all over Australia and the world. We conduct meetings via Zoom or Skype. 

What if I need something that is outside of the work scope?

If you need anything that is outside of the scope of works we have quoted on, then we will let you know about those additional costs before we get to work.

Do you need all of the content for my website before you start on the design?

Yes. We know you’re keen to get started on your new site, but we need to consider all the elements and how they’ll fit together to create a website design that works.

I already have a logo. Can I just work with you to make a website?

Absolutely. We can work with your existing brand or help spruce up your visuals if needed. We can also work with your existing style guide if you have one.

How do you charge? Per hour or per project?

No one likes to be surprised by a big bill. For this reason, we quote all our jobs on a per-project basis. That way you know exactly what you’re getting and what it will cost.

What if I need something that is outside of the work scope?

If you need anything that’s outside the quoted scope of works, we’ll let you know about any additional costs before we start.

What if I don't like what you have created for me?

Then we’ll work really hard to change it so you do. If you don’t like the first concept we create, we’ll organise a time to chat with you. That way we can understand your concerns and explain the rationale behind our design.
