Can you design a logo for me?
Yes, we can. You can view some examples of logo design that we have completed in the past for other clients. We have fixed price packages for logo design, please email us if you would like further details about it.
What is the process for getting a logo designed?
For all our logo design projects, we complete 2 or 3 initial draft concepts then 3 set of revisions to one concept. Final logo is supplied to you as master files, in colour and mono sent to you via email. We provide your logo design in EPS, AI, JPEG, PDF and PNG files. Included in our packages is a single page style guide showing type faces used and colours for your new logo design.
Will I own the copyright to my logo design?
Do you require a deposit?
For all graphic design and web design services we require a 50% upfront payment for all new clients. This is payable prior to commencement of your project. If you decide to stay on as a long term client, then we do not take pre-payments for each project and we also offer 7, 14 and 30 trading terms.
What are your payment terms?
In most cases, payment is required prior to the release of our final digital files for anything that we print and prior to website deployment. Our terms are generally 7 days unless prior consent has been requested. For long term, regular clients we offer 14 day terms. You can also easily make payments via EFT or credit card on our website.
Can you organise printing for me?
Yes we can. As part of our graphic design services, we offer to all our clients print management. We can take your graphic design project, from concept to delivery of print. We work closely with a variety of printers located in Brisbane, and gang printers located throughout Australia. I never send our print job overseas unless requested.
Do you print business cards?
Yes we do, we generally print anywhere from 250 business cards right up to 2000 or more. Generally we only print business cards we have designed for clients, or ones that we have made changes to for clients.
How long with my printing take?
Printing time frames vary from job to job. Once we receive approval of your printing, we can ask the printers to provide us with an approximate delivery date. Some of our local printers run 24 hours, so if your budget allows they can delivery printing that is high quality and turn around fast!
Can you make me a website?
Yes we sure can. We only make WordPress Websites for our clients. WordPress is a blogging platform that is now also used as a content management system for websites. Once we have completed your website design, we offer training and handover so you know how to work your site, how to add content and images as you go forward. You can view some of the websites we have designed in the past and also request a quote.
Can you register a domain name for me?
Yes we can register a variety of domain names for you, all you need to do is let us know what you want and we can do the rest from there. If you would like the register your domain yourself, I highly recommend WPHosting.
Can you take out hosting for me?
While we don’t sell hosting direct to our clients, we can help you get this sorted. We love and recommend WP Hosting to all our clients (and for our own hosting). Not only are they Australian based but when you ring for help, you speak to a real local person! Seriously how awesome is that? WP Hosting offer a range of plans.
Can you take my images out of word?
No, images that have been cut and pasted or inserted into a Microsoft Word document are not high enough resolution for us to use for professional graphic design and print services.
Can I take an image off the internet to use in the brochure you are designing for me?
No, we cannot use images off google image search, or any other images off the site, images generally that are found online are only 72dpi so that makes them too small for print. PLUS it’s against the law to just take someone else images and use them! Please spend money on a Brisbane photographer and get your own images.
Do you do concepts?
Yes, if you would like to see concepts for your project before deciding if we am the right graphic designers for your project, then we would be happy to quote on this for you. We don’t do concepts for free.
What if I don’t like the concepts?
While we make every effort to ensure we can delivery a project that meets your brief, if you don’t like our concepts, and we cannot get them to approval with some minor changes, then are you free to not proceed with your project and just pay for work completed to date.
How many revisions do you offer?
All quoted projects have an allowance of 2 sets of client amendments. You are free to make more than 2 sets of changes, but for all quoted projects any additional changes will be charged at our hourly rate.
Do you work on an hourly rate or fixed price?
I prefer to quote for all projects so that we both know what we are in for.
Can I have the design files?
Generally we don’t realise design files to clients, your payment to me is for my services to design your project and for the final product/artwork. The ownership of the working files always remains with the creator (me). Therefore if clients want to, they can purchase my working files from me for a cost.
Where are you located?
I am located around Stafford Heights, Chermside West and Chermside on Brisbane’s northside.
Why should I choose you over a big agency?
The biggest benefit to working with a small graphic design studio, is that you get to work with us directly, no account managers or sales people. Also being a small business, our costs are low, which means we can pass these lower costs onto our clients. This means our fees are less than a big agency.
Do you send the work offshore?
No, all work is completed by me, or my designer in our office here in Brisbane, Australia. We never send anything offshore to be completed.
