One thing you should really know how to do with your WordPress website is “How to Schedule a WordPress post”.
WordPress is a fantastic platform for content managed websites. Not only is it easy to use, but it comes with built-in features that enable you to update easily.
It’s hard finding the time to keep your blog / website up to date. For a small businesses where your staff are busy, asking them to blog once a week might seem impossible. Using the schedule post feature, means you can allocate some time once a month to write four blog posts. You then schedule those post to go live on a date and time of your choosing.
So…how do you do it?
The schedule post option is found under the Publish area, on the right hand side (normally) of your single post section.
Firstly you hit the edit button (see arrow and image to the right hand side), once you select this you will get a field that appears for you to enter the time and date you want to schedule your WordPress post for. After completing these details, hit the ok button. You will notice that your normal publish button now has changed to schedule. Hit that baby and your post is now all schedule to go on the date and time you selected. Magic really!
